Reconnect
Reconnect (for iPhone and for Android) sends local notifications reminding you to contact people you have chosen to follow up with, on a per-person cadence. Everything about the people you add is stored on your device. Reconnect has no account and no analytics; the only thing it ever sends us is feedback you choose to write.
Not yet released. This page documents the app ahead of its store listing.
Features
- Per-person follow-up cadence, from weekly to yearly
- Repeating reminders that escalate until you log the contact or snooze it
- Log or snooze directly from the notification, without opening the app
- Home screen widget showing who is overdue or due soon
- Works entirely offline; free for up to 5 people, then a one-time purchase
Permissions
What each requested permission is used for.
| Permission | Why it's needed |
|---|---|
| Notifications | Delivers the follow-up reminders. Reconnect has no other way to reach you, so declining this disables its core function. |
| Contacts (not requested) | Reconnect uses the system contact picker, which returns only the one contact you tap. It never requests access to your contact list and cannot read it. |
